C / A-tick certification is the Australian Communications Authority (ACA) for communications equipment issued by the certification mark. C-tick certification cycle is 1-2 weeks. Products are tested to ACAQ technical standards, registered with the ACA for use of the A/C Tick, and a Declaration of Conformity form is completed and kept with the product's record of conformity. A label with the A/C Tick logo is attached to the communication product or device. The A-Tick for sales to consumers applies only to communications products, and the C-Tick applies to most electronic products; however, if an A-Tick is applied to an electronic product, a separate C-Tick is not required. since November 2001, EMI applications for Australia/New Zealand have been merged; if a product is to be sold in both countries, it must be registered with the ACA (Australian Communications Authority) or New Zealand (Ministry
Australia). ) or New Zealand (Ministryof Economic Development). Australia's EMC system categorizes products into three tiers. Before selling Level 2 and Level 3 products, suppliers must register with the ACA and apply for the C-Tick mark.
20. SAA Certification
SAA Certification is an Australian standards body and a subsidiary of the Standards Association of Australia. Many of my friends refer to Australian certification as SAA. SAA is a certification that electrical products entering the Australian market must comply with local safety regulations, i.e. the certification that the industry often faces. Due to the Mutual Recognition Agreement between Australia and New Zealand, all products certified by Australia can enter the New Zealand market without any problems. All electrical products should be Safety Approved (SAA).There are two main types of SAA marks, one for official recognition and the other for standardization. Type approval can only be carried out by samples, while the standard mark needs to be reviewed by each factory. Currently, there are two ways to apply for SAA certification in China, one is through CB test report transmission. If there is no CB test report, you can also apply directly. Usually, the deadline for ITAV lamps and small household appliances to apply for SAA certification in Australia is 3-4 weeks. The date may be extended if the product quality is not up to standard. When the report is submitted to Australia for audit, the SAA certificate of the product plug (mainly used for products with plugs) should be provided, otherwise it will not be processed. SAA certificates for important parts of the product (e.g. lamps) should be provided together with SAA certification for transformers in the lamps, otherwise the Australian audit data will not be passed.
