Corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pump is a kind of pump equipment used to handle corrosive liquids, and its working principle is based on centrifugal force and kinetic energy principle. Its main working principles are as follows:
Drive: corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pumps are usually powered by a drive such as an electric motor or engine. The drive unit is connected to the rotor of the pump through the shaft, which drives the rotor to run the pump.
Rotor: the rotor of the pump is composed of the impeller, shaft sleeve and shaft. When the drive drives the rotor to rotate, the impeller rotates with it.
Impeller: The impeller is the key component of a centrifugal pump, which usually has several curved vanes. When the impeller rotates, due to centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown away from the impeller and moves toward the outlet of the impeller.
Inlet and Outlet: The inlet and outlet of the pump are connected to the impeller portion of the pump through pipes. As liquid flows into the pump through the inlet, the rotation of the impeller throws the liquid away from the impeller and out through the outlet.
Static pressure and dynamic pressure: In the pump's working process, the liquid will produce static pressure and dynamic pressure due to centrifugal force and kinetic energy conversion. The static pressure is the pressure generated by the liquid being thrown away from the impeller, while the dynamic pressure is the pressure generated by the liquid in the flow process.
Through the above working principle, corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pumps are able to pump corrosive liquids in from the inlet, throw the liquids away from the impeller through the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the impeller, and discharge the liquids through the outlet, so as to realize liquid transportation and pumping work. In addition, corrosion-resistant chemical centrifugal pumps are usually manufactured with special corrosion-resistant materials to protect the long-term performance of the pump when handling corrosive liquids.
