Intellectual Property Issues Reception Office - Entrance of Pavilion 8.1, Zhujiang Walking Road, Zone A (I) Types of IDs for the Exhibition and Method of Issuing Them
1. Exhibitor IDs: For use by the staff of the exhibitors and will be issued in accordance with the following standards:
Standard Booths Each (9 square meters) will receive 4 exhibitor IDs free of charge. Standard booths (9 square meters) will receive 4 exhibitor badges free of charge;
Empty booths (10 square meters) will receive 1 exhibitor badge.
Collection method: Three days before the exhibition, the organizer will collect the passes at the on-site service point with the exhibitor's contract and payment vouchers according to the standard.
2. Mounting pass: for use by construction personnel during the preparation and removal of the exhibition, the cost of 10 yuan/paper, the main contractor is responsible for the issuance of the application form, please refer to Chapter IV, Form A7.
3. Media pass: for the use of invited media and journalists (with the invitation letter or press card of the organizer/exhibitor, one person one pass). This pass is categorized into two types: A and B. Please refer to the official website of the exhibition for specific requirements.
Interested media will be asked to submit relevant identification information in advance on the official website of the exhibition, and the organizer will determine the qualifications of the journalists, and the documents will be collected at the on-site press center check-in area by presenting the confirmation letter of the exhibition and other valid documents (more than one reporter from the same organization can entrust one of them to collect the documents on behalf of the reporter, and in other cases, the reporter must collect the documents in person).
4. Exhibitors' technical support passes: RMB150 per person, divided into two categories: 1. Limited to use only on the media day (Nov. 21) and the opening ceremony (Nov. 22); 2. Limited to use for the whole period (Nov. 21-28); 3. Limited to use only on the media day (Nov. 21) and the opening ceremony (Nov. 22); 4. Limited to use only on the media day (Nov. 21) and the opening ceremony (Nov. 22). Application must be made by the exhibitor and submitted with a list of relevant staff and a copy of ID card application as well as photos.
5, work card: the organizer will wear "organizer" work card, the conference related to other staff will wear "staff" work card.
6. Prototype Car Pass: For the use of the prototype car on display, please refer to Chapter 4, Form B1 of this manual for the application method.
7. Waiting Area Pass: Please refer to the form in Chapter 4, Form B3 of this manual for application.
8. Exhibit Transportation Permit: Please apply for the Waiting Area Permit first, and then go to the site with the Waiting Area Permit and pay RMB 75 yuan per permit to the main transportation provider in exchange for the Permit.
9. Overtime Vehicle Permit: For the use of vehicles that need to change vehicles and transport publicity materials during the period of development, please submit an application to the Organizing Committee, and please refer to the B2 form in Chapter 4 of this manual for the application method.
(2) Criteria for Issuance of Free Tickets and How to Purchase Tickets
The organizer will provide a certain number of free tickets to each exhibitor. The standard of issuance is as follows: standard booth -----5 tickets/9 square meters and open space booth -----1 tickets/1.5 square meters. These complimentary tickets should be collected by exhibitors at the organizer's office or at on-site check-in.
For ticket purchase, please refer to Form B4 in Chapter 4, exhibitors can enjoy certain discounts.
(C) Regulations on the Management of Documents
1. During the period of preparation and withdrawal of the exhibition, all construction personnel entering and leaving the exhibition halls or working inside the halls must wear their preparation (withdrawal) documents.
2. Please keep the exhibitor's license in a safe place. Replacement cards will be charged a cost of RMB1,000 per card.
3. Documents may not be lent, sold, altered or forged, and offenders will be penalized. During the exhibition period, the show encourages exhibitors to organize and hold seminars/technical exchanges on relevant topics within the industry in the exhibition halls. Exhibitors interested in organizing such events should refer to Form B6 in Chapter 4 of this brochure and contact the Organizer to determine meeting room and equipment rental, scheduling and other matters.
The Organizers are willing to assist exhibitors in inviting relevant departments and personnel to attend these meetings. Exhibitors who wish to do so are requested to provide the Organizer with a list of the organizations and personnel who wish to participate in the meetings, so that we can proceed with the invitation process. Exhibitors can also arrange their own personnel to organize the work. November 21 is the media day of the exhibition, exhibitors are advised to arrange their press conferences on that day. Exhibitors who plan to arrange press conferences should submit their plans to the Organizing Committee before October 25th, and the Organizing Committee will coordinate the release time. Each exhibitor's press conference should be limited to 30 minutes.
Each exhibitor is required to provide the Organizing Committee with a press release before October 30th, including the number of vehicles on display, new vehicles, concept cars and other relevant content. The organizing committee will compile and print the show catalogue before the show and distribute it to exhibitors, professional visitors and other industry insiders during the show. Exhibitors are requested to send their company information to the organizing committee 40 days before the show. The main content of enterprise information includes: introduction in English and Chinese (within 200 words each), company name in English and Chinese, address in English and Chinese, contact person, telephone, fax, web page, e-mail, etc. (Except for the company profile, other contents can be provided selectively according to the actual needs). Please note that the specific registration form will be sent to the e-mail address of the exhibitors' responsible persons in the later stage of the work.
Also, the organizing committee will publish a certain number of color advertisements in the conference journal, and present certain specifications of advertisements according to the exhibitors' exhibition area: auto parts and supplies enterprises of 36 square meters or more, and vehicle enterprises of 500-1000 square meters will be presented with single-page advertisements (the size of 170mm wide × 240mm high.), and the size of the advertisements will be displayed in the exhibition hall. Without 3mm bleed line, please do not put the main graphics and text near the edge line, so as not to be covered by the spine folding); 1000 square meters and above to give across the board (340mm wide × 240mm high, please do not put the main graphics and text near the center line, to the center line shall prevail, left and right at 6mm do not have the main text and graphics, due to the wireless binding, try to avoid the thickness of the binding of the book, so as not to have the main graphics and text by the spine folding). 1. Equipment and materials used for booth performances during the Show must comply with safety and environmental protection requirements, and exhibitors must arrange for performances to be conducted with strict control of the volume of sound and with consideration for the feelings of neighboring booths and visitors.
2. Ensure that all machines are equipped with safety devices when in operation, and that these safety devices can only be removed when the machines are disconnected from the power supply.
3. Ensure that all machines in operation are operated by the exhibiting company's professional staff, and that no machine is allowed to be operated without the supervision of such staff.
4. All running exhibits must be safely installed and guarded and secured in a safe position to prevent them from sliding, and the placement of exhibits in the booth must not cause any danger or injury to visitors, staff or other persons.
5. Starting devices shall be placed independently to avoid operation by visitors or other unauthorized persons.
6. Avoid toxic gases, exhaust fumes or other irritants produced by the exhibits to be discharged into the exhibition hall.
7. Prohibit the use of devices involving gas cylinders, open flames and welding.
8. Adequate protective measures must be taken to prevent damage to the exhibition hall floor, carpets and other facilities. Any resulting damage will be the sole responsibility of the exhibitor. Exhibitors who need to carry out activities in the Plaza must obtain a "Plaza Activity License" in advance.
9. Ensure that noise does not disturb visitors or other exhibitors. Exhibitors are not allowed to install high-decibel sound in their booths without authorization, and the sound played in each exhibitor's booth should be limited to 70 decibels or less. The Organizer reserves the right to take measures to reduce the volume or turn off the equipment if the demonstration creates any problems.
10. Any performances or activities (including press conferences and distribution of gifts and materials) at the exhibition site must be declared to the Organizer in advance in writing and approved before they are carried out, and vendors are prohibited from displaying parades at the exhibition site in principle. Exhibitors should take care to ensure that the contents of such activities are not contrary to political or spiritual civilization; to ensure the safety of the exhibition while the activities are in progress, and the Organizer will advise or temporarily stop such activities depending on the safety of the site; and the Organizer requires that on-site performances at adjacent booths in the same exhibition hall should be conducted in separate time slots. In the event of any problems arising from the performance or activity, the Organizer reserves the right to reduce the volume, turn off the equipment and stop the performance or activity.
11. Exhibits, posters, documents and materials brought into the exhibition halls must be related to the theme of the Exhibition and agreed by the Organizer. If any exhibits, promotional materials or exhibits ancillary items are found to be in conflict with these regulations, the organizer has the right to remove such items from the exhibition hall. 1. Exhibitors shall be responsible for any expenses or claims for compensation incurred by them for their own reasons during the period of setting up, exhibition and removal. The Organizers recommend exhibitors to take out insurance for their exhibits or valuables and to take out third party insurance.
2. Security at the venue will be arranged by the Conference. Security personnel will patrol the venue 24 hours a day, but will not be responsible for injuries to staff, loss or damage to exhibits.
3. Exhibitors are requested not to place their exhibits and packing materials in the aisles when setting up and taking down their exhibits in order to keep the main aisles clear.
4. During set-up and take-down, there must be enough staff in the booth to guard the exhibits and decoration materials.
5. Please notify the organizer or the security guards present if you find any suspicious persons.
6. Exhibitors are advised to keep their valuables in a safe place. 1. There is no space available for exhibitors to store their belongings in the exhibition hall, so exhibitors are requested to contact the designated transportation provider for storage.
2. Exhibitors are not allowed to display products that are not related to the exhibition, otherwise the organizer has the right to disqualify the exhibitor from participation in the exhibition, and the exhibitor will be responsible for any damages incurred as a result of such disqualification.
3. Exhibitors are not allowed to retail their exhibits at the exhibition, otherwise they will be responsible for the industrial and commercial taxes and other liabilities caused by the exhibition. (I) Interim Provisions on the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights at the China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition
In order to protect the patent rights of inventions and creations, encourage design innovations, standardize the market order, and set up a good image of the exhibition in terms of intellectual property rights, the exhibition has made the following provisions on the protection of design patents of the exhibits during the exhibition period:
1. On-site intellectual property rights consulting points (referred to as consulting points) will be organized by the The organizer of the exhibition and the local intellectual property management department, is the only organization that accepts complaints about patents, trademarks and copyrights at the exhibition site.
2. The Counseling Point only accepts complaints of alleged infringement of intellectual property rights that occur in the exhibition halls during the exhibition.
3. Exhibitors must consciously abide by China's relevant patent protection laws and regulations as well as the relevant provisions of the General Assembly on the management of exhibits (including products and promotional pictures, materials and unopened cartons posted and displayed in the booths) and patents, and prepare valid proof of intellectual property rights of the exhibits concerned.
4. The exhibition requires exhibitors to strictly examine the intellectual property status of the exhibited products, and exhibitors must provide legal and valid proof of intellectual property rights, and it is prohibited to bring infringing products to the exhibition site. Exhibitors are not allowed to exhibit, offer and close deals on other people's patented products without the permission of the patentee.
5, the on-site consultation point accepted by the complainant complaining of patent infringement, the complainant must submit the following information:
(1) patent certificates, proof of the legal status of the patent, the text of the announcement of the patent authorization;
(2) the identity card of the patent owner;
(3) entrusted to an agent, but also need to provide a power of attorney and the agent's proof of identity;
(4) The exhibitor under complaint and his/her booth number.
6. The organizer of the exhibition will strengthen on-site supervision and strictly examine the status of exhibits, display boards and related promotional materials during the preparation and exhibition period, and will promptly report any infringement found to the relevant management departments.
7. The complainant must provide assurance to the exhibition organizer that if the malicious complaint causes damage to the exhibition organizer or the complainee, the complainant must bear the corresponding legal responsibility.
8. Once the patent infringement complaint is accepted by the relevant patent administration department, the organizer of the exhibition will assist the patent administration department or the relevant notary public or the patent infringement complainant to collect evidence (including video, photography, sampling), inspect and identify the booth site. Once the patent administration department determines that it constitutes a suspected infringement, and after receiving the "Notice of Suspected Patent Infringement", the exhibitor must provide evidence to defend itself within half a working day (based on the work and rest time table of the exhibition venue), or withdraw the suspected infringing products from the exhibition stand instantly.
9. The complained exhibitors and their exhibitors must actively cooperate with the patent administration department or the consultation point to check the patent rights of the exhibits to ensure the smooth progress of the exhibition. The patent administration department and the General Assembly have the right to request the public security and pavilion guards to cooperate and assist in the performance of the relevant duties.
10. If the complainant negotiates with the suspected infringing party without accepting the complaint at the on-site counseling point, and if a dispute is caused at the exhibition site which affects the order of the transaction, the Conference has the right to prohibit him/her from entering the exhibition hall.
(2) Handling of Suspected Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights
1. Participants holding valid passes to participate in this exhibition may complain to the on-site Intellectual Property Rights Counseling Points if they find suspected infringement of intellectual property rights of exhibits, publicity materials and parts of the displays in their booths in the exhibition halls.
2. Complainants should first show evidence of ownership to the staff of the Counseling Point when filing a complaint.
3. After the above documents are validated by the staff, the complainant shall fill in the "Complaint Form" as required.
4. Upon receipt of the "Letter of Complaint", the Counseling Center will arrange for the staff to accept the complaint. The party under complaint shall assist the Counseling Point in handling the complaint with a representative of the exhibitor who has been officially filed with the General Assembly.
5. The principle of reversal of the burden of proof applies to cases of suspected patent infringement handled by the Counseling Point. After being informed of the suspected infringement of an exhibit, the party against whom a complaint is filed shall immediately produce a certificate of rights or other evidence to prove that it owns the right to exhibit or operate the exhibit, make a proof of non-infringement, and assist the staff of the Counseling Point in the inspection of the suspected exhibit.
6. If the party under complaint fails to provide effective proof of non-infringement of the allegedly infringing exhibits, the staff of the Counseling Center has the right to suspend the allegedly infringing exhibits. The party under complaint shall immediately sign a "Letter of Commitment", promising not to operate or display the allegedly infringing exhibits during the current exhibition. The Undertaking shall be in duplicate and shall be held by the party under complaint and the Counseling Point respectively.
7. If the respondent has any objection to the result of the Complaint Station, he/she can go to the counseling point within half a working day to put forward additional evidence of non-infringement. If the evidence is valid, the Complaint Station will immediately return the suspended exhibits and allow them to continue to be displayed; if the evidence is invalid, or if the evidence is overdue, or if no additional evidence is provided, the Conference will have the right to confiscate the suspended products.
8. In order to maintain the order of the General Assembly, the complainant shall not take further legal action against the respondent at the exhibition site after the processing and acceptance of this processing by the respondent at the counseling point until the end of the exhibition.
