How to issue RoHS test report for electronic products

ROHS test report:

RoHS is a mandatory standard legislated by the European Union, its full name is "Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive" (Restriction of Hazardous Substances). ? This standard has been formally implemented on July 1, 2006, and is mainly used to regulate the material and process standards of electrical and electronic products, making them more conducive to human health and environmental protection.

ROHS scope of testing

RoHS directive covers the range of AC1000V, DC1500 by the catalog listed in the electronic and electrical products:

1,000V, DC1500 by the directive covers the range of AC1000V, DC1500 by the catalog listed in the electronic and electrical products:?

1, large household appliances: refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, air conditioners, etc.; ?

2, small household appliances: vacuum cleaners, irons, hairdryers, ovens, clocks, etc.; ?

3, IT and communication instruments: computers, fax machines, telephones, cell phones, etc.;

4, civilian devices: radios, televisions, video recorders, musical instruments, etc.; ?

5, lighting apparatus: in addition to household lighting, such as fluorescent lamps, lighting control devices;?

6, power tools: drills, lathes, welding, sprayers, etc. (except for large industrial tools that need to be installed);

7, toys/entertainment, sports equipment: electric cars, TV game consoles;?

8, medical equipment: radiation therapy equipment, electrocardiogram testers, analytical instruments, etc.;

9, monitoring/control equipment: smoke detectors, thermostats, factory monitoring and control machines, etc.;?

10, vending machines; of which, the RoHS Directive does not apply to the 8th and 9th articles for the time being. All of the above are within the business scope of DPWC testing.

RoHS testing and certification information preparation

1. Heavy metal testing only: solids need to provide about 5-10g, liquids must provide 5-10mL;

2. Brominated flame retardants testing only: solids need to provide about 10-20g, liquids need to provide 10-20mL;?

3. For heavy metals and organic pollutants: provide about 20-30g of sample;

4. For other organic pollutants: provide about 30g of sample; ?

5. Only test plating (coating) parts of the sample, you need to specify the plating (coating) material parts of the approximate weight; such as plating (coating) parts of the weight does not meet the requirements of the amount of samples sent to the plating (coating) raw materials need to be provided.

RoHS testing factory inspection

No factory inspection is required, but generally RoHS will require a one-year validity period. In fact, the RoHS test report itself is only based on the analysis of the product, as long as your product materials, production processes and procedures, etc. remain unchanged, the test report can be valid for a long time.

RoHS testing and certification cycle

RoHS integration of 20 groups of less than 5 working days, more than 20 groups of 7 working days, RoHS testing 5 working days.
