What are the differences and similarities in the way dialysis machines and dialysis water treatment equipment are sterilized?

There is a big difference in the way dialysis machine lines are disinfected and dialysis water treatment equipment is disinfected and the disinfectants (chemicals) used.

1) There is chemical and thermochemical disinfection for dialysis machines and chemical and hot water disinfection for dialysis water treatment equipment;

2) Sodium hypochlorite is the preferred disinfectant used for chemical disinfection of dialysis machines, followed by compound peroxyacetic acid. Chemical disinfection of dialysis water treatment equipment uses simple peroxyacetic acid;

3) Thermal disinfection of dialysis machines requires the addition of Lonzo's Complex Citric Acid Cleaner, which has citric acid as the main ingredient, for the purpose of disinfection, degreasing and decalcification. Complex citric acid itself has no disinfecting effect. Dialysis water treatment equipment hot water disinfection does not add any chemical reagents, simply heat the water, play the purpose of disinfection.
