Village health center is also called the village health room, the village medical point, and the state provides that the village health center are not allowed to lease, transfer, contracted to others. The village health center must be set up in the village area, each administrative village only set up a designated medical institutions.
Medical institutions are categorized as follows:

3, according to the nature of business: non-profit, other non-profit, for-profit.

Village Health Room Management Measures (for Trial Implementation)
Article 4 The village health room is an important part of the rural public ****service system, is the basis of the rural health care service system. All localities shall take public construction and government subsidies to support the construction of village health room housing, equipment purchase and normal operation. Article 5 The National Health and Family Planning Commission, in conjunction with the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Finance, shall guide localities in formulating plans for the establishment of village health offices, and shall be responsible for the supervision and management of village health offices nationwide, among other things.
Provincial and municipal health planning administrative departments, in conjunction with the development and reform, finance and other departments at the same level, to formulate plans for the establishment of village health centers within their administrative areas, and is responsible for the supervision and management of village health centers within their administrative areas.
County-level health planning administrative departments to rationalize the planning of village health center set up, responsible for the administrative area of the village health center set up for approval, practice registration, supervision and management work. Article 9 The basic medical services provided by village health offices mainly include:
(1) preliminary diagnosis and examination of diseases and basic treatment of common and frequent diseases, as well as rehabilitation guidance and nursing services;
(2) preliminary on-site first aid and referral services for critically ill patients;
(3) referral of infectious diseases and suspected infectious diseases;

Except for emergency surgical hemostasis and small wound disposal to save the patient's life, the village health office shall not, in principle, provide the following services:
(i) surgical, hospitalization and delivery services;
(ii) medical services that are not compatible with its functions;
