-Good location advantage. Wuqia county is located in the westernmost border of the motherland. Jillger Shitan Port borders Kyrgyzstan and Osh (the border is 4 10/0km long), about 220km away from Osh, the capital of the state, and 3km west of Wuqia County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture. It is one of the two main trading ports between China and Kyrgyzstan and an important gateway to Central Asia, South Asia, West Asia and European countries.
-Convenient land transportation. The G30 13 Expressway transits the border between China and Kyrgyzstan. The planned China-Kyrgyzstan-Urumqi Railway will run through Wuqia, when a good transportation system will be formed, and the transportation advantage of the port park's economic development will be further enhanced.
-Rich natural resources. Wuqia county is rich in mineral resources and easy to mine. Metal minerals mainly include iron, copper, gold, lead, zinc, etc. Non-metals mainly include coal, oil, phosphorus, clay, celestite and gypsum, among which coal, iron and gypsum are the most abundant. By the end of 20 12, there were more than 60 mining enterprises in Wuqia county. These natural resources not only provide sufficient raw materials for the development of manufacturing and processing industries, but also save a lot of transportation and mining costs, greatly reducing the development costs of related industries.
-A long history and culture. Kashi is located at the intersection of the southern and northern lines of the ancient Silk Road, and it is the intersection of East and West economy and culture. Ancient Indian culture, ancient Roman culture, ancient Greek culture and Islamic culture have all stopped in Kashgar and the vast number of Central Asian countries, shaping domestic minorities and Central Asian nations with similar blood ties, languages, customs and cultures. This unique cultural and historical advantage has created favorable conditions for the development of Kashgar's export-oriented economy.
-Export-oriented market demand. Kashgar has a huge consumer market in eight neighboring countries in Central Asia and South Asia. At present, the population of five Central Asian countries is 54.87 million, and the population of three South Asian countries is 65.438+23.7 million. On the one hand, in terms of consumption level, with the further economic recovery in these areas, the consumption level has been greatly improved, and there is a strong demand for commodities such as daily necessities, transportation, medical equipment, chemical equipment and electric locomotives, and the market potential is huge. On the other hand, Central and South Asian countries are extremely rich in natural resources and huge in energy resources, but other economic and industrial bases are relatively weak. Compared with the current economic situation in China, the two sides have great mutual benefit and complementarity in all aspects of the economy, which provides a huge space for the development of Kashgar's export-oriented economy.
