Above the municipal level, there are 203 key cultural relics protection units, including 90 at the national level, 79 at the provincial level and 34 at the municipal level. There are 13 broadcasting stations and 568,000 cable TV subscribers. The radio population coverage rate is 99.5% and the TV population coverage rate is 99.5%.
Participating in the seventeenth national "Group Star Award", in which the dance "Sweeping the Street" selected by Jiangxian County Culture Center won the first place in the dance category of the seventeenth national "Group Star Award"; successfully organizing the big display of intangible cultural heritage; organizing the third cultural "Chrysanthemum Flower" in Yuncheng City. In 2016, Yuncheng City added 50,400 new jobs in towns and cities, transferred 65,723 rural laborers, re-employed 13,418 laid-off unemployed people in towns and cities, and employed 3,893 people with employment difficulties. The registered urban unemployment rate at the end of the year was 2.84%.
Social Security
As of the end of 2016, Yuncheng City had 2.818 million people participating in social pension insurance for urban and rural residents. There were 551,000 urban workers in basic pension insurance. It participated in urban basic medical insurance for 884,000 people, unemployment insurance for 339,000 people, work injury insurance for 669,000 people, and maternity insurance for 404,000 people. As of the end of 2016, Yuncheng City*** had 102 social service organizations of various types providing accommodation, with 6,749 beds. Among them, there were 88 service organizations for the elderly and the disabled, with 6,352 beds. At the end of the year*** there were 118 community service centers and 137 community service stations. The annual sales of social welfare lottery tickets amounted to 430 million yuan, and received 500,000 yuan in social donations.
Environmental Protection
In 2016, Yuncheng City's Yuncheng section of the Yellow River and Fen River Basin*** monitored 11 sections. Among them, four sections reached the water quality standard of Class III or above, two sections reached the water quality standard of Class V, and five sections exceeded the water quality standard of Class V. Annual air quality in the center of the city more than two (including two) days was 252 days. At the end of the year, the central city park area reached 613.3 hectares.
The area of green space reached 2,092.2 hectares, an increase of 21.1% over 2015. The green coverage rate of the built-up area of the central city reached 36.7%. The annual central city sewage treatment rate reached 91%; the rate of harmless treatment of urban household waste reached 100%; the centralized heating penetration rate reached 90%; and the urban gas penetration rate reached 99%.
Safety Production
In 2016, 54 people were killed in safety production accidents in Yuncheng City, a decrease of 39.3% from 2015. Among them, production and operational road traffic accidents caused 37 deaths, 563 injuries and direct economic losses of 1.6543 million yuan. There were no accidents with more than 10 deaths at a time in coal mines, hazardous chemicals, road transportation, firefighting and other industries. There were no large and above food safety accidents throughout the year.
