Fuzhou Second Hospital, founded in 1866, is a three-level first-class hospital with orthopedics as the leading factor and integrating medical treatment, scientific research, teaching, prevention and rehabilitation. Its predecessor was the "Harbour Lights" jointly organized by the Royal Navy and the British Consulate. 1887 was renamed Tating Hospital; 1March, 956, named "Fuzhou Second Hospital"; 20 12 became a non-directly affiliated hospital of Xiamen University in April.
After years of unremitting efforts, the hospital has made great progress in medical technology, equipment, service, environment, personnel training and hospital management, and won many honorary titles such as "advanced collective of national health system" and "civilized unit of Fujian Province".
