Prohibited Items for Carrying and Mailing
I. Animals and Animal Products
(1) Live animals (except dogs and cats), including all mammals, birds, fishes, amphibians, reptiles, insects, and other invertebrates, animal genetic material.
(ii) Meat (raw or cooked) and products thereof, including organisms; aquatic animal products.
(iii) Milk and milk products of animal origin, including raw milk, fresh milk, yogurt, cream, butter, cheese and other dairy products of animal origin.
(iv) Eggs and their products, including fresh eggs, leather eggs, salted eggs, egg liquid, egg shells, mayonnaise and other products of egg origin.
(v) Bird's nest (except canned bird's nest).
(F) oil and grease, skin, hair, hooves, bones, horns and their products.
(VII) animal source feed (including meat meal, bone meal, fish meal, whey powder, blood meal and other single feed), animal source of traditional Chinese medicine, animal source fertilizers.
II. Plants and plant products

Note: 1. Animals and plants, animal and plant products and other quarantine materials imported by carrying or mailing are not subject to this list if they have been approved and licensed by the relevant administrative departments of the State and have quarantine certificates issued by official agencies of the exporting countries or regions.
2. Dogs, cats and other pets with animal quarantine certificates and vaccination certificates issued by official agencies of the exporting countries or regions are limited to one per person.

Common Carrying Regulations
1. Renminbi (RMB): Passengers carrying RMB in and out of the country are limited to RMB 20,000, and are not allowed to enter or leave the country in excess of this limit.
2. Foreign currencies: There is no restriction on the amount of foreign currencies a passenger may bring into the country, but if a passenger brings in foreign currencies equivalent to more than 5,000 US dollars in cash, he/she has to declare the amount of foreign currencies to the Customs and when he/she brings them out of the country, the Customs will release the goods with the declaration form of the passenger when he/she enters the country.
When the outbound passengers carry foreign currency equivalent to more than 5,000 U.S. dollars, the Customs will release them with the "license to carry foreign currency out of the country" issued by the bank.
3. Provisions on the Carriage of Gold, Silver and Their Products
If an outbound traveler carries more than 50 grams of gold, silver and their products purchased within the territory of the country, the Customs will release the goods on the basis of the Special Delivery Tickets printed by the People's Bank of China.
4, Chinese herbal medicines, proprietary Chinese medicines carrying regulations
The total value of Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines carried by travelers out of the country to Hong Kong and Macao is limited to RMB 150 yuan; and to foreign countries, it is limited to RMB 300 yuan.
Travelers carrying Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines purchased in foreign exchange in reasonable quantities for personal use out of the country shall be released by the Customs upon inspection of the consignment note stamped with the "Foreign Exchange Purchase Seal" uniformly issued by the State Administration of Foreign Exchange (SAFE).
Musk, tiger bone, bear bile and its products, as well as Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines exceeding the prescribed limits are not allowed to be carried out of the country.
5, cultural relics carrying regulations
Travelers carrying cultural relics into the country, such as the need to re-take out of the country, should be declared to the Customs at the time of entry in detail.
Carrying cultural relics out of the country, the Customs and Excise Department with the cultural administration in the cultural relics stamped with the identification mark "fire lacquer seal" and cultural relics and antiquities of the export of the unified consignment note, or cultural administration issued by the "cultural relics out of the country license" to check and release.
