Level 1: cosmetic surgery project with uncomplicated operation process, little technical difficulty and risk;

Grade II: The operation process is complicated, the technology is difficult and the risk is high, and cosmetic surgery items such as epidural anesthesia and intravenous general anesthesia are needed;

Level 3: cosmetic surgery project with complicated operation process, great technical difficulty and high risk, blood preparation before operation due to trauma and general anesthesia through tracheal intubation.

Legal basis: Article 2 of the Measures for the Administration of Medical Beauty Services The term "medical beauty" as mentioned in these Measures refers to the restoration and remodeling of human appearance and the morphology of various parts of the human body through surgery, drugs, medical devices and other traumatic or invasive medical technologies.

The term "beauty medical institutions" as mentioned in these Measures refers to medical institutions mainly engaged in medical beauty diagnosis and treatment.

The term "attending physician" as mentioned in these Measures refers to a practicing physician who meets the conditions stipulated in Article 11 of these Measures and is responsible for the implementation of medical beauty projects.

Medical cosmetology is a first-class discipline, and cosmetic surgery, cosmetic dentistry, cosmetic dermatology and cosmetic Chinese medicine are two disciplines.

According to the technical difficulties and possible medical risks of medical beauty projects, graded access management is implemented for medical beauty projects. The catalogue of classified management of medical beauty projects shall be formulated separately by the Ministry of Health.
