In other words, it can not only detect the products detected by the above calipers, but also detect flat products such as flat wire, narrow strip steel and rubber strip. When there are both round and flat products in the production line, this type of double-axis calipers can be customized.
Double-axis parallel-axis caliper
As the name implies, the double-axis parallel-axis caliper has two sets of probes arranged in parallel axes, which can detect the outer diameter of two parallel products at the same time, but not the ovality.
The structure of double-axis parallel-axis calipers makes it suitable for the production line with two rolled pieces at the same time and close distance, which saves both space and cost. The equipment can be used for on-line outside diameter detection of multi-strand products such as wire drawing, rubber hose, plastic pipe, wire and cable.
These three types of double-axis calipers can be tested online to realize closed-loop control function. The only difference is that the products of the production line are different, and different external diameter measuring equipment suitable for the production line is selected.
