1, different responsibilities: hardware engineers are mainly responsible for the design, development and testing of computer hardware, including motherboards, chips, circuit boards and other hardware components of the R & D and manufacturing; while electronic engineers are mainly responsible for the design, development and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems, involving circuit design, electronic component selection and integrated circuit design.
2, the scope is different: electronic engineers is a broader field, covering the application of electronic technology in various fields, including communications, control, power, medical and other industries; and hardware engineers is a special group of electronic engineers, focusing on the design and development of computer hardware.
