Basic standards for the establishment of medical institutions

The basic standards for the establishment of a medical institution are:

1. an approval letter for the establishment of a medical institution;

2. conformity with the basic standards for medical institutions;

3. a suitable name, organization and premises;

4. funds, facilities, equipment and professional and technical health personnel appropriate to the business they carry out;

5. corresponding rules and regulations;

6. able to independently assume civil liability.

Legal basis

Article 16 of the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions

Applicants for registration of a medical institution shall have the following conditions:

(1) a certificate of approval for the establishment of a medical institution;

(2) conformity with the basic standards of a medical institution;

(3) an appropriate name, organization and premises;

(4) a certificate of approval for the establishment of a medical institution;

(5) appropriate funds, facilities and equipment;

6.

(iv) have funds, facilities, equipment and professional health technicians appropriate to the business they carry out;

(v) have appropriate rules and regulations;

(vi) be able to independently assume civil liability.

The License to Practice in Medical Institutions and its copies are uniformly printed by the Ministry of Health.

The time for acceptance of the application for registration of practice as stipulated in Article 19 shall be counted from the date when the applicant provides all the materials stipulated in the Regulations and these Rules.
