Dolphin medical equipment

Since we started the private school community, we have received the support of many parents and friends.

Even some young ladies who are not ready to have children want to join us.

I hope to understand the Australian education system and plan my children's education in advance.

I told them not to worry, so let's take our time, one thing at a time, and take our time.

Young couples who have plans to get pregnant may wish to know the choice of having children in Australia first. How to choose doctors and hospitals?

Dolphin sister first briefly introduces Australia's medical system.

Hospitals in Australia, like schools, are divided into public and private.

Public hospitals are supported by government funds and have no profit pressure. Basically, they are all comprehensive hospitals with complete medical equipment.

Public hospitals have doctors on duty 24 hours a day, covering different departments. Public hospitals with strong comprehensive ability can call a group of professional doctors to deal with emergencies in a short time.

In Australia, all emergency patients are sent to public hospitals for treatment.

As long as you bring your medical insurance card, it is free to see a doctor in a public hospital. But in public hospitals, patients can't choose the attending doctor.

In China, you can choose your own doctor when you register, but in Australia, doctors in public hospitals are uneven. What kind of professional level and medical experience our attending doctor has depends on your luck.

Compared with public hospitals, private hospitals in Australia are more humane.

Patients can not only enjoy comfortable single ward, professional nursing and other superior medical environment, but also choose doctors according to their own conditions.

In addition, the waiting time for surgery in private hospitals will be greatly shortened.

After all, hospitals are for profit, and their time arrangement is more efficient than public hospitals. At the same time, their service attitude towards patients is also obviously different.

But you get what you pay for, and better service means higher prices. The cost of seeing a doctor in a private hospital far exceeds that of a public hospital.

We understand the difference between public hospitals and private hospitals in Australia. Next, how to choose when giving birth to children?

Share your own experience. I was the kind of kid who cried when I was a child. When I am filling my teeth, I get scared when I hear the sound of an electric drill. I have been particularly afraid of pain since I was a child, and I dare not go to the hospital.

When I decided to have children, I was really nervous, and I didn't know if my little body could bear it.

According to many experienced friends, if you want to have more production options, minimize the pain and uncontrollable factors, and turn the process of giving birth into a beautiful memory, you'd better buy appropriate private medical insurance in advance and make an appointment with experienced specialists in private hospitals in advance.

So I did not hesitate to choose the most expensive birth plan-gynecology and private hospitals.

The first time I found out that I was pregnant, I made an appointment with a family doctor (GP, general practitioner) and asked her to write a letter of introduction. 12 weeks later, I recommended it to an obstetrician.

I have many requirements, not only need to have experience, but also must be a female doctor to avoid unnecessary embarrassment.

It is best to communicate in Chinese.

After all, having a baby is a big deal. I don't want to test my IELTS listening and speaking ability at this severe time. What if you don't know any professional vocabulary?

So, my family doctor recommended me a female doctor from China in northern Sydney.

Experts are responsible for postpartum examination and delivery.

At the same time, I also reserved wards and delivery rooms in private hospitals in advance. Experts are responsible for delivering babies on the day of delivery.

It must be pointed out that before we decide on private hospitals, we must choose experts.

It depends on which private hospitals your specialty cooperates with. Each expert can receive and deliver babies in many hospitals.

My eldest brother chose Mater Hospital in northern Sydney, and my second son is SAN Hospital in northern Sydney. The software and hardware of the two hospitals are comparable, and the environment is quite good.

If there is any difference, it is that the passport birthplace of the brother and sister varies from hospital to hospital. One is North Sydney, and the other is Wahroonga.

The medical expenses of specialties are relatively high, and only a few of them can be reimbursed by public medical cards, and most of them need to pay for themselves.

Ten years ago, it was about 2000-4000, but now the price has doubled, ranging from 4000-8000 Australian dollars.

During the production period, the cost in private hospitals is very high, with an average of about 2000 Australian dollars a day, which is several times more expensive than that in five-star hotels, and this cost cannot be reimbursed through public medical cards.

It is necessary to purchase additional private medical insurance (about 2000 Australian dollars per year) and reimburse the hospitalization expenses of private hospitals through insurance companies.

If you plan to have a baby in a private hospital, you should buy appropriate private medical insurance in advance at the beginning of pregnancy, because every insurance company has a waiting period of 12 months, and you can't wait until you are pregnant, so it will be too late.

What's the experience of giving birth in a private hospital?

I summed up four points:

First, the delivery and hospitalization conditions are more comfortable.

The delivery rooms in private hospitals are like star-rated hotels, and some rooms have sea views.

The hospital will provide all necessities for mothers and babies, including mother's personal care products, baby diapers, milk powder bottles and so on. Each ward has its own bathroom. Husband can accompany the bed with a small sofa bed and TV.

I remember when I entered the ward, I was too nervous to sleep, but my prospective father watched the whole game calmly.

Second, private hospitals have more food.

Many private hospitals can order food many times, enough for couples to eat together, just like hotel room service.

Just take the menu and make a reservation by phone. The meals in the hospital are well-balanced. There are fruits and vegetables, healthy snacks and desserts in protein, which are healthy and delicious.

However, our elders in China will think that some foods are not suitable for pregnant women, such as cold foods. Yes, there are yogurt and ice cream. But my husband ate all these.

Third, midwives in private hospitals are more patient and responsible.

Nurses in private hospitals are very patient. Their job is to take care of mothers and babies, teach us to change diapers, wrap babies, feed babies and so on.

Every day, there are various courses, such as teaching new fathers how to bathe their children, and also teaching us the precautions for postpartum repair and how to take care of the baby after returning home. There is even teaching parents how to deal with the relationship between Dabao and Bauer. In private hospitals, children can be sent to nurses' stations for monitoring at night.

Maternal women can have a good sleep and replenish their physical strength. The day before leaving the hospital, she arranged for us to be alone, helped us to take care of the baby, and let the new parents go out for a date and have a candlelight dinner to celebrate.

Fourth, private hospitals have freedom of choice.

It's up to mom to decide whether to give birth naturally or by caesarean section. What kind of analgesia do you choose? When should I have an anesthetic for painless delivery? Do you want to induce labor in advance? These can be discussed with specialists according to the actual situation of each parturient.

At first, my baby's head circumference was measured by B-ultrasound during pregnancy, and her weight was a little overweight. The specialist told me that if the baby does not start naturally after the expected date of delivery, the fetus will get bigger and bigger, and the difficulty of natural delivery will increase.

After our discussion, we chose the expected date of delivery to induce labor three days earlier. In this way, many uncontrollable factors are basically minimized, the production date is selected, and the hospital is hospitalized in advance.

The first baby takes seven and a half hours to give birth, and the second baby takes less than four hours to give birth. And they all gave birth naturally, and the process of each step was basically within our expected range.

In addition to this most expensive production plan, there are two other birth plans.

If the expectant mother is pregnant unexpectedly and does not buy private medical insurance in advance, she can choose a gynecologist and a public hospital.

Similarly, please ask your general practitioner to write a letter of introduction in the first trimester and recommend it to gynecologists 12 weeks later.

Experts are responsible for postpartum examination and delivery. Select wards and delivery rooms in public hospitals for production. On the day of delivery, the baby is delivered by a fixed specialist. Good obstetricians and gynecologists have a whole year's work schedule, so it is best to make an appointment in advance.

If you have Australian permanent status, it is free to go to public hospitals to give birth, and you don't need to buy private medical insurance.

You only need to pay the doctor's fee, which is about 4000-8000 Australian dollars, and medical insurance can reimburse a small part.

The advantage of giving birth to a baby in a public hospital is that the hospitalization fee is free. When giving birth, your own specialist will bring TA's team to deliver your baby. Moreover, public hospitals have complete medical equipment, and the hardware conditions are guaranteed in case of any emergency during production.

The last option is the most economical, and the doctor on duty delivers the baby in a public hospital.

You still need to ask your general practitioner to recommend a public hospital near your home.

Prenatal examination is arranged by general practitioners.

Midwives (midwives) in public hospitals will give you a check-up in the middle and late stages.

On the day of delivery, the doctor on duty in the public hospital delivered the baby.

If you have permanent residency in Australia and personal medical insurance (health care card), you can have children almost free of charge through this program.

This situation is full of uncertainties, and some mothers have had unpleasant experiences in public hospitals. Because there are so many patients in public hospitals, it really depends on luck whether you can meet good doctors and nurses. But some particularly successful mothers think that public hospitals are cheap and good.

Secondly, there are not many choices for public hospitals. Doesn't mean you have to break your belly if you want to.

If there are conditions for natural delivery, caesarean section is not allowed and natural delivery is encouraged. Only in an emergency will you coordinate the operating room to prepare for caesarean section.

A friend of mine gave birth to her first baby in a public hospital that year, and it hurt for more than a day. The doctor on duty that day was too young and inexperienced to decide whether to have a caesarean section or not. Finally, after a long delay, the maternal condition was very dangerous, so a more experienced doctor made a decision to push her into the operating room for caesarean section. So when she gave birth to a second child, she decisively chose a private hospital.

These are the three plans to have a baby in Australia. My personal feeling is that if you want to take precautions, you'd better buy private medical insurance first.

If economic conditions permit, we should still give ourselves more choices, choose our trusted specialty and choose our favorite private hospital, so that the important moments of life are less risky and more warm. A few years later, looking back, I feel that this money is really worth it!
