How to use the Apple Watch's Sports & Fitness feature correctly

In the Fitness app, press the screen to change your daily Activity goal.

Every Monday, you're notified of your accomplishments from the previous week, so you can adjust your daily Activity goal for the upcoming week. apple watch suggests a goal based on your previous performance.

Managing fitness activity notifications: Just-in-time reminders help you reach your goals. apple watch can help you see if you're on track or just a little behind in reaching your fitness goals. It can even remind you that you've been sitting too long. To select the reminders and alerts you want to see, open the apple watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, then tap Fitness.

In the Fitness Activity shortcut view, colored circles indicate progress toward your daily Activity, Exercise, and Standing goals. "goals each day.

To see a history of your fitness activities and all that you've accomplished: Open the Fitness app on your iPhone, then tap a day in your calendar to see information organized by that day. You'll see Activity, Workouts, and Standing information, as well as steps and distance.

Adjust your goals: Open the Fitness app on your apple watch. Open the Fitness icon and press down on the screen until you see a prompt to change your Activity goal.

See your progress: In dial view, swipe up, then swipe to the Fitness shortcut view to see how you're doing at any time. Tap the shortcut view to open the Fitness Activity app Fitness Activity icon, then swipe to view individual fitness activities. "The Activity circle shows how many calories you burned while active. "The Workout circle shows how long you've been exercising at a certain level of intensity. "The Standing circle shows how many times you stood for at least one minute per hour during the day. Swipe up on a fitness activity or rotate the Digital Crown to see your progress graphically.

Fitness progress is shown as a circle or graph in the Fitness Activity shortcut view.

An overlap of the circles indicates that you have exceeded your goal. Keep an eye on the Achievement Badge feature, if it's turned on.

Record your daily fitness activities

Getting Started: When you first open the Fitness app on your apple watch, swipe left for Activity, Exercise, and Standing. "Swipe left for instructions on Activities, Workouts, and Standing, then tap Get Started. Tap Gender, Age, Weight, and Height to enter the required information, then rotate the Digital Crown to set and tap "Continue". Finally, tap Start Activity.

In the Fitness Activity app, you can set 3 daily fitness goals: Stand, Move, and Exercise.

Note: You can also enter your birthday, gender, height, and weight in the apple watch app on your iPhone. In the apple watch app, tap My Watch, then tap Health.
