Robot Soccer Tournament
Competency development is at the core of the quality education currently promoted by the state. Robot soccer provides a big stage to develop students' ability. The most influential international robot soccer tournaments are FIRA and RoboCup two world cup robot soccer tournaments, these two tournaments have strict rules of the game, the integration of fun, ornamental, popularization of science as a whole, for more young people to participate in international scientific and technological activities to provide a good platform. 1. FIRAFIRA ( FederationofInternationalRobot-soccerAssociation) is the abbreviation of the International Robot Football Federation, which was founded in South Korea during the second Micro Robot Championship (MiroSot'97) in 1997 by Juggling Sun Yuanyuan Hehua. FIRA organizes the Robot Soccer World Cup (FIRARobot-SoccerWorldCup) once a year, referred to as FIRARWC, and the location of the tournament varies from year to year, and so far eight tournaments have been held in South Korea (three times), France, Brazil, Australia (two times), and China. The ninth tournament was held in Korea in October 2004, and the main events included: Anthropomorphic Robot Soccer (HuroSot), Autonomous Robot Soccer (KheperaSot), Miniature Robot Soccer (MiroSot), Ultra-miniature Robot Soccer (NaroSot), Miniature Robot Soccer (RoboSot), Simulation Robot Soccer (SimuroSot) and Robot Soccer (SimuroSot). Soccer Tournament (SimuroSot) and six others.
2. RoboCupThe second largest series of robot soccer tournaments is RoboCup. RoboCup (RobotWorldCup) is an international organization established in Japan in 1997. RoboCup's ultimate goal is to establish a fully autonomous anthropomorphic robot soccer team by 2050, capable of playing a real soccer match with humans. The main competitions are: computer simulation competition (SimulationLeague1, small soccer robot race (Small-SizeLeague (F a 180)), medium-sized autonomous soccer robot race (Middle-SizeLeague (F2000) 1, four-legged Four-LeggedRobotLeague), and Anthropomorphic Robot Soccer (Humanoidleague). In addition to the RoboCup soccer tournament, RoboCup also organizes RoboCup Rescue and RoboCup Junior. RoboCupRescue is to study how to apply robots to actual rescue work, and hope that through the organization of the competition can be in different degrees to promote the development of the actual rescue work of human beings, the competition program includes computer simulation competition and robotics competition two series. At the same time, RoboCup in order to popularize robotics cutting-edge science and technology, stimulate the interest of young people to learn, in 1999 l2 months set up a special organization of primary and secondary school students to participate in the branch of the event RobocupJunioro.
Fire extinguishing competition
Robot fire extinguishing competition robot fire extinguishing idea in 1994 by the United States of America Trinity College of the Professor JackMendelssohn first proposed. The competition is held in a set of simulated four-room housing, the robot is required to participate in the shortest possible time to extinguish the candles placed in any room. Participants can choose different modes of competition, for example, in the competition venue can choose to set up slopes or furniture obstacles, in the control of the robot can choose voice-controlled and remote control, the shortest time to extinguish the candles, the choice of the mode of the most difficult, the lowest combined demerits of the contestant as the winner. Although the competition process is only a few minutes or even a few seconds of time, used to extinguish the fire robot volume is not more than 3l cubic centimeters, but which contains a very high content of science and technology. Robot equipped with a data processing chip, walking, fire extinguishing devices and flame detectors, light detectors, sound detectors, infrared detectors and ultrasonic detectors and other instruments, these devices make the robot as if it had a brain, eyes, ears and hands and feet, so that according to the site of the different situations, intelligently complete the task of avoiding obstacles, looking for the fire, fire and other tasks. At present, the robot fire-fighting competition has become one of the world's most popular intelligent robot competition.
Comprehensive Competition
Robot Comprehensive Competition Whether it is the robot soccer competition series or the robot fire fighting competition series are mainly centered on a theme of robot competition, in the international arena, in addition to these robot single competition, there are various robot competition combined in the competition series, that is, robot comprehensive competition. These competitions mainly include the International Robot Olympiad and the FLL World Championships.
1. International Robotics OlympiadInternational Robotics Olympiad Committee (IROC) is a non-profit international robotics organization, founded in 1998, headquartered in South Korea.IROC began to organize the first "International Robotics Olympiad" in 1999, which is a combination of science and technology and educational purposes. IROC has been organizing the first International Robot Olympiad since 1999, which is a competition in the Asia-Pacific region that combines science and technology with educational purposes, with the aim of giving more young people more opportunities to participate in international science and technology exchanges, to demonstrate their talents and abilities, and to inspire them to explore the world of science and technology and robotics. So far, six consecutive competitions have been held in Korea, Hong Kong, China, and Beijing. 2004 included two series of competitions, the regular and creative competitions.
2. FLL World Championships FLL is another comprehensive series of robotics competitions.FIJL (FIRSTLEGOLEAGUE) is an international organization that provides robotics competitions for children aged 9-16 around the world. Each fall, the organizing committee of the competition will unanimously announce globally that year's FLL Challenge theme, as well as the specific competition projects refined according to the theme, and the teams will have to design robots capable of completing the tasks within two months after the tasks are announced, participate in regional auditions, and the winners will be able to enter the global finals. The 2004 FLL Robotics Engineering Topic Challenge theme is: Using Robotics to Help people with different abilities. Specific competition items include: arranging CDs, playing basketball, climbing stairs, feeding pets, opening doors, reading bus stops, pushing chairs, delivering meals and picking up eyeglasses, etc. The main purpose of the competition is to allow children to experience the lifestyle of people with disabilities, to draw their attention to them, and to appeal to their love.FLL's challenge theme varies from year to year. The themes of the previous competitions listed in the table are either proposed according to actual problems or guided by children's sci-fi imagination. These themes are not only interesting, but also provide open-ended solutions to the problems, so that students can achieve the same goal in different ways, thus encouraging students to give full play to their imagination and creativity, and cultivating their developmental thinking, which can be seen from the fact that robotics competitions have already become a program that can stimulate children's interest in learning and guide them to actively explore the future of robotics. FLL's competitions also include regular competitions, soccer matches, computer robotics design and hands-on competitions, and more.
