Safety measures of automobile maintenance workshop

The leader's illegal command is equal to crime, and the employee's illegal operation is equal to suicide. For the sake of safety, please pay attention. The following is the related contents of the safety precautions I brought to the automobile maintenance workshop, hoping to help you!

I. Personal safety

1, eye protection

In automobile maintenance enterprises, eyes often suffer from various injuries, such as flying objects, corrosive chemicals splashing, toxic gases or smoke. Almost all of these injuries can be prevented.

Common eye protection devices are goggles and masks. Goggles can protect eyes from all kinds of injuries, such as flying objects or splashing liquid. Wear goggles in the following situations: metal cutting, shoveling with chisel or punch, using compressed air, using detergent, etc. Mask can not only protect eyes, but also protect the whole face. If arc welding or gas welding is carried out, goggles with colored lenses or special masks with dark lenses should be used to prevent harmful light or excessive light from hurting eyes.

Note: When taking off the goggles, close your eyes to prevent metal particles sticking to the outside of the goggles from falling into your eyes.

2. Hearing protection

The garage is a noisy place, and all kinds of equipment, such as impact wrench, air compressor, grinder and engine, make a lot of noise. Short-term high noise can cause temporary hearing loss, but continuous low noise is more harmful.

Common hearing protection devices include earmuffs and earplugs, which can be worn at the same time when the noise is particularly loud. Generally, earmuffs or earplugs must be worn in the sheet metal workshop.

3. Hand protection

Hand is one of the parts of the body that are often injured, so it should be protected from two aspects: First, don't put your hand into dangerous areas, such as the rotating belt in front of the engine and near the exhaust pipe of the engine. Second, wear protective gloves when necessary. Different occasions need different protective gloves, such as labor gloves for metal processing and rubber gloves for contact with chemicals.

4. Clothes, hair and accessories

Loose clothes, long sleeves and ties are easy to get into the rotating machine, so in the repair shop, you should first wear work clothes, preferably one-piece work clothes, coats and work clothes, which are much safer than usual. If you wear a tie, put it in your shirt.

Don't wear watches or other accessories at work, especially metal accessories. During electrical maintenance, current may be introduced to burn the skin, or short circuit may damage electronic components or equipment.

Wearing labor insurance shoes in the factory can protect the foot surface from being hurt by falling heavy objects, and the soles of labor insurance shoes are oil-proof and non-slip.

Long hair is easy to get involved in running, so be sure to tie it up and put on a hat.

Second, the tools and equipment safety

1, safety of hand tools

Hand tools seem to be safe, but improper use can also lead to accidents, such as using a screwdriver instead of a crowbar, causing the screwdriver to crack and damage, splashing objects to hurt yourself or others, wrenches slipping from greasy hands, falling onto rotating parts, flying off and hurting people, and so on.

In addition, when using tools with sharp edges, don't aim sharp edges at yourself and colleagues. When passing the tool, the handle faces the other side.

2. Safety of electric tools

Three-phase sockets should be used for all electrical equipment, grounding wires should be grounded safely, and cables or loose components should be repaired in time; All rotating equipment should have a safety cover to reduce the possibility of parts flying out and injuring people.

When maintaining the electronic system, the power supply of the circuit should be disconnected by disconnecting the negative grounding wire of the battery, which not only protects personal safety, but also prevents damage to electrical appliances.

Many maintenance procedures require lifting the vehicle off the ground. Before lifting the vehicle, ensure that the vehicle has been properly supported and use safety locks to prevent the vehicle from falling. When lifting a car with a jack, make sure that the jack is supported on the beam part or a relatively solid part of the car chassis.

Note: When lifting the car, you should read the maintenance manual first to find the correct support point. The wrong support point is not only dangerous, but also damages the structure of the car.

Tools and equipment should be inspected and maintained regularly.

3. Safety of compressed air

Be very careful when using compressed air, don't play with it, don't aim it at yourself or others, and don't blow it at the ground or equipment or vehicles. Compressed air can tear the eardrum, cause deafness and damage the lungs or skin. Dust or metal particles blown by compressed air can cause skin and eye damage.

Third, the daily safety rules.

1, keep tools clean and put them in the right place when not in use.

2, all kinds of equipment and tools to timely inspection and maintenance.

3, hands should avoid oil pollution, so as not to slip tools.

4. Vehicles that start the engine should ensure that the parking brake is normal.

Don't loiter in the workshop.

6. Start the engine in the workshop and keep good ventilation.

7. Wear appropriate clothes in the workshop and necessary equipment, such as gloves, goggles and earplugs.

8. Don't blow compressed air at people or equipment.

9. Don't put sharp tools in your pocket to avoid stabbing yourself or scratching the vehicle.

10. Do not put tools, equipment, vehicles, etc. On the public passage.

1 1. Use the right tools in the right way.

12. Hands, clothes and tools should be kept away from rotating equipment or parts.

13. Be extra careful when driving in and out of the workshop.

14. Don't work when you are extremely tired or depressed. This will reduce your concentration and may lead to injury to yourself or others.

15. If you don't know how to use the workshop equipment, you should first ask someone who knows it to get the correct and safe use.

16. Please follow the correct procedure when lifting the vehicle with a jack.

17, you should know the location of fire extinguishers, medical first aid kits and eye washing places in the workshop.
