Alibaba International Website Rules

Chapter 1 Overview

Article 1: Purpose To promote a new business civilization of openness, transparency, sharing, and responsibility, to protect the legitimate rights and interests of users of the Alibaba International Website, and to create and maintain a harmonious business environment, we have formulated these rules.

Article II Scope of Application These rules shall apply to users of any products or services (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Services") of Alibaba.com.

Article III Principle of equality Users are equal in the application of the rules.

Article IV Compliance with Laws and Policies Users shall comply with national laws, administrative regulations, departmental rules and normative documents.

Article V Principle of Priority of Contract If the user has entered into a contract with Alibaba for the use of the services, the contract shall have priority of application. If the contract does not provide, the rules shall apply. These rules are not yet provided, Alibaba has the right to discretion, but Alibaba's handling of the user shall not be exempted from its due legal responsibility.

Article VI Revision of Rules Alibaba reserves the right to revise these rules at any time, and the revised rules shall take effect immediately upon announcement on Alibaba's international website.

Chapter 2 Definitions

Article 7 Alibaba International Website refers to Alibaba's English website, with the domain name www.alibaba.com.

Article 8 Users refers to the users of the services of Alibaba International Website who have full capacity for civil behavior.

Article IX buyer, refers to the user who browses or buys products on Alibaba international website.

Article X seller, refers to the Alibaba international website to publish product information, promise to sell or sell products. Article 11 Information, refers to the product information, company information, feedback, forum comments, etc. released by the user on the Alibaba international website.

Article XII Transaction, refers to the buyer and seller through the Alibaba international website to get acquainted with the use of Alibaba international website's trading system or through the offline trade engaged in buying and selling activities.

Article 13 Escrow service refers to a third-party payment guarantee transaction service launched by Alibaba for international trade.

Article 14 When calculating the term in terms of days, it refers to natural days, unless there are exceptions.

Chapter 3: Purchase of Services, Account Management and Use of Services

Section 1: Purchase of Services

Article 15: Purchase and Use of Services by Users Only Users shall purchase any services of Alibaba.com in their own names, and the services purchased shall be for their own use only: (1) It is prohibited to purchase the services by fraudulently using the name of another person; (2) It is prohibited to rent or loan their business licenses to others for the purpose of purchasing services. (a) Prohibit the fraudulent use of other people's names to purchase services; (b) prohibit the rental or lending of business license to others to purchase services; (c) prohibit the borrowing or renting of other people's business license to purchase services; (d) prohibit the forgery or alteration of business licenses to purchase services. Section II Account Management

Article 16 Account Management Users shall keep their accounts and passwords strictly confidential and secure, and shall manage and regulate the behavior of account operators. At the same time, the customer shall regularly check the security of the account, continuously strengthen the ability to recognize various phishing websites, and shall prohibit the continued use of the account by the person who has left the company and shall change the password in a timely manner.

Section III Use of Services

Article XVII Use of Services Only by the User The service purchased by the user is for the user's own use only, and shall not be licensed to others; the service shall not be transferred in whole or in part to others without authorization.

Chapter 4 Information Release Section 1 Principles of Information Release Article 18 Principles of Information Release Information released by users shall be true, accurate, legal and effective. Article 23 Product Attributes The content of product attributes should be consistent with the actual product, truthfully fill in the composition, material, size, brand, model, origin and so on.
