Chongqing will provide highway helicopter air rescue service during the Spring Festival.
During this year's Spring Festival, Chongqing will be in part of the highway set up "air 120", in the traffic flow of time, focusing on serious injuries in need of urgent medical treatment of the injured, to carry out helicopter air rescue.
"Air 120" by the Chongqing Municipal Transportation Department of Chongqing Municipal Emergency Medical Center and through the aviation company. During the Spring Festival, the highway traffic is expected to be the largest February 6 to February 13, and February 21 to March 2, a total of 18 days, for the Chongqing Yuxi area highway to provide helicopter air rescue free service.
The on-duty helicopters and on-duty doctors will be on standby in the Weilong service area of Yurong Expressway, and the scope of the rescue service will cover the highways in the western part of Chongqing, focusing on the injured who are in serious condition and need to be transported to the hospital urgently. The helicopters are equipped with airworthiness certified ventilators, defibrillators, syringe pumps, suction devices and other medical equipment.
In addition, during the Spring Festival, pre-hospital treatment will continue on all highways in Chongqing. Some of the three hospitals will be in the G50 Jiangbei and other 10 main line station stationed ambulance, the opening of traffic accidents emergency treatment "green channel".
