We usually say to do a kind of myopia laser surgery, in fact, it is mainly differentiated by skin flap. There are usually the following ways: PRK, LASEK, LASIK, ultra-thin LASIK, EPI-LAISK, femtosecond and so on. PRK is to scrape the corneal epithelium directly with a corneal scraper, and then irradiate the corneal stroma with laser, which will cause obvious postoperative pain, foreign body sensation and other adverse reactions. This kind of operation is rarely performed now. EK is to remove corneal epithelial layer with alcohol ring, and then laser, which is relatively lighter than PRK. LASIK is to make a corneal flap with a corneal lamellar knife, and then laser and reset the corneal flap. The reaction of this operation is very mild, and the eyes may be used normally the next day after operation. Ultra-thin LASIK is the same as LASIK, except that the flap is thinner and the myopia can be higher. EPI-LAISK used corneal epithelial lamellar knife to make a flap (thinner), and the postoperative reaction was lighter than PRK and EK and heavier than LASIK. This is a scar repair operation, because the skin flap made by it is very thin (50μ m) and will melt after one week. Using femtosecond laser as valve, the valve cutting is more uniform (expensive).
LASIK, ultra-thin LASIK, EPI-LAISK and femtosecond are popular surgical methods.
