How many kinds of medical insurance are there?

Medical insurance is divided into the following categories:

1, general medical insurance. General medical insurance mainly guarantees the general medical expenses of the insured for treating diseases, including outpatient expenses, medical expenses and examination expenses. This kind of insurance has low premium cost and is more suitable for the general public. Because it is difficult to control the expenditure of medical expenses and examination expenses, such policies generally have the provisions of deductible and proportional payment. The insurer pays a certain percentage (such as 80%) of the above deductible, and the insurance premium is updated once a year. The insurer will no longer bear the insurance liability if the cost of each disease exceeds the insured amount;

2. Hospitalization insurance. Because hospitalization expenses are considerable, hospitalization expenses are regarded as a separate insurance. The expenses of hospitalization insurance mainly include daily hospitalization room fee, doctor's treatment fee, hospital equipment use fee, operation fee, medical expenses, etc.

3. Surgery insurance. Surgery insurance pays for patients who need necessary surgery. This kind of insurance policy will generally cover all surgical expenses;

4. Comprehensive medical insurance. Comprehensive medical insurance is a comprehensive medical expense insurance provided by the insurer for the insured, and its expenses include all expenses of medical treatment, hospitalization and operation.
