1990 "Daikin Industries (Thailand) Ltd." is established in Thailand, and production of air-conditioners begins in 1991.
1991 Fluorochemical manufacturing and sales company "Daikin America, Inc." and "MDA Manufacturing" were established in the U.S., and production began in 1994. Kashima Plant added HFC-134a production facilities and started production. A stereo parking lot with low noise level and high safety was launched in the market.
1992 Daikin succeeds in obtaining ISO9001 certification for the first time in the air conditioning industry. The Director of Global Environment and the Global Environment Room were established.
1993 Establishment of the "Code of Conduct for the Global Environment". Established Daikin Sunrise Regency Co., Ltd. as a company that employs people with severe disabilities.

2001 Daikin Fluorochemicals (China) Co., Ltd. is established in Changshu, China as a large-scale fluorocarbon resin manufacturing and sales company.
Daikin (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was established in Beijing, China to centralize the management of all air-conditioned chemical production bases, and branches were set up in Shanghai and Guangzhou.
The first commercialized HFC-125 production line in Japan was launched at Daikin.
2002 President Reiyuki Inoue is inaugurated as Chairman and CEO of the Board of Directors, and Special Agent Keiyuki Kitai is inaugurated as President and COO of the Board of Directors, and the Supreme Management Meeting is newly established. The Daikin Group Management Philosophy was established.
