What should the archives be equipped with?

Eight precautions for archives refer to eight safety measures for archives, including fire prevention, theft prevention, waterproof, moistureproof, rodent prevention, insect prevention, dust prevention and magnetism prevention. In order to ensure the safety and preservation quality of archives, the archives room needs to be equipped with the following facilities and equipment:

1. Fire prevention facilities: such as fire hydrants and fire extinguishers.

2. Anti-theft facilities: such as access control system, surveillance camera, etc.

3. Waterproof facilities: such as water pumps and water pipes.

4. Moisture-proof facilities: such as dehumidifiers and air conditioners.

5. Rat prevention facilities: such as mousetraps and medicines.

6. Pest prevention facilities: such as pesticides.

7. Dust-proof facilities: such as air purifiers.

8. Anti-magnetic facilities: such as electromagnetic shielding materials.
