EMC test includes what test content?

EMC test main categories:

1. EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference) --- Electromagnetic Nuisance Test

The purpose of this test is: to detect the electromagnetic radiation generated by the electrical products on the human body, the public **** power grid, as well as other normal work of the impact of electrical products.

What is the main content of the EMI test?

Radiated Emission - Radiated Nuisance Test

Conducted Emission - Conducted Nuisance Test

Harmonic - Harmonic Current Nuisance Test

Flicker - Voltage Variability and Flicker - The effect of voltage variations and flicker on the electrical power supply. Flicker-voltage variation and flicker test

2. EMS (Electro-Magnetic Susceptibility)---Electromagnetic Immunity Test

The purpose of this test is to detect whether the electrical products can work stably and unaffectedly in the electromagnetic environment.

What is the main content of EMS test?

ESD - Electrostatic Discharge Immunity Test

RS - Radio Frequency Electromagnetic Field Radiation Immunity Test

CS - Conducted Nuisance Immunity Test for Radio Frequency Field Induction

DIP - DIP - Voltage Dips, Short Interruptions and Voltage Variations Immunity Test

The EMS test is designed to test the stability of an electrical product in an electromagnetic environment. Short Interruption and Voltage Variation Immunity Test

SURGE-Surge (Impulse) Immunity Test

EFT-Electrical Fast Transient Pulse Flock Immunity Test

PFMF-Power Frequency Magnetic Field Immunity Test

Spurious Definitions Spurious definition: refers to the standard test signal modulation in addition to the carrier frequency and due to normal modulation and switching transients caused by the sidebands and neighboring channels outside the discrete frequency radiation (both far-end radiation). Spurious radiation according to its source can be divided into two types of conducted and radiated.

Conducted spurious: the level power of any discrete signal measured at the connector of the antenna on a 50 ohm load.

Radiated spurious: test equipment chassis, structure and interconnecting cables caused by spurious nuisance. Test conditions are preferred to be conducted in an airwave dark room or outdoors.
