Synopsis
Scheduled to be broadcast by Asia Television Hong Kong from February 12 onwards every Mondays to Fridays at 8:30pm, it will be shown in a special edition on the same channel. Starting from February 12, it will be broadcast on ATV Hong Kong every Monday to Friday at 8:30pm. The story begins with a senior brain surgeon, Dr. Fong Chi Yan (Chung Chun To), who is working in Thailand and Cambodia as part of an international medical organization and suffers a gunshot wound to the head when he is ambushed by guerrillas. With the lack of medical equipment and backwardness, Dr. Fong is in urgent need of an open brain surgery, and whether his life can be saved under such adverse circumstances.

The story goes back a year to when Yan was in Hong Kong, working at a hospital with his girlfriend, Sze Kau Ho (Rosamund Kwan), who was in a dead-end relationship. Mann, a senior obstetrician and gynecologist, shares Yan's vision and passion for medical work, and spares no effort in helping patients.
