Note that warm water should be used here, not overheated water, lest the carpet shrink or fade. In addition, for jute carpet, the mixed detergent of baking soda and water can penetrate the fiber, and the carpet cleaner of flat woven handmade carpet can be washed. Note: If you are not sure whether the cleaning agent you use can clean the carpet, you can try it in an inconspicuous place first. If the carpet does not fade or other conditions occur, clean the stains.
Clean stains
Use a prepared soft brush or sponge or towel, dip it in detergent and wipe the stains on the carpet surface. At this point, according to the severity of the stain, clean it. If the stain is serious, let the detergent stand on the carpet for at least 5 minutes, and then wipe it. It may take several times to find deeper and older stains, and then you can continue to clean them in the above way. Note that if there are stubborn pet stains on your carpet, and some of them will smell, you can consider using biological enzyme carpet cleaner (not suitable for silk carpets) and let the cleaner stand on the carpet surface for half an hour to eliminate any stubborn odor.
After the stain is cleaned, use a sponge or towel dipped in warm water to wash off the cleaning agent on the carpet. Pay attention to ensure that the detergent is completely washed off to prevent it from staying on the carpet surface and damaging the carpet.

After the stain on the carpet is cleaned, let it dry naturally. In order to speed up the drying process, you can use a dry towel to absorb excess water on the carpet surface, open a window for ventilation, or use an electric fan. Pay attention to dry the carpet surface and carpet back.
