LCD (liquid crystal display for short) adopts a substance between solid and liquid, an organic compound with regular molecular arrangement, which is heated to a transparent liquid state and cooled to a turbid solid state of crystal particles.
The molecular structure of liquid crystal used in liquid crystal display is similar to a thin matchstick, so it is called nematic liquid crystal, and the liquid crystal display made of this liquid crystal is also called LCD. In LCD TV, a voltage is applied to the liquid crystal between two pieces of glass, and the picture is reproduced through the changes of molecular arrangement and twists and turns. The screen creates a picture through the collision of electron groups, and forms a picture through the perspective reflection of external light.
