Xilin Gol Vocational College is located in Xilinhot, known as the "Pearl of the Prairie". It is approved by the People's Government of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Ministry of Education for the record of a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational colleges and universities. After years of development, it has grown into a comprehensive national institution of higher learning with the characteristics of bilingual teaching in Mongolian and Chinese, and the coordinated development of multiple specialties such as medicine and nursing, machinery and electric power, coal and chemical industry, grassland ecology, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, national art and sports, etc., which mainly focuses on the higher vocational education and at the same time undertakes the vocational undergraduate education.
