My laptop wireless card is 802.11h+d, can I adjust it to what slack 11h+d, slack 11h, strict 11h, what do these mean?
802.11h is primarily used to address interference due to the use of 802.11a in certain locations, especially military radar systems and medical equipment. 802.11h involves two techniques, one is Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS), which is used to detect the presence of other signals on a channel, and when such signals are detected, it automatically shifts the network to another channel. Another technique is Transmission Power Control (TPC), which focuses on reducing the radio frequency output power transmitted by the network to minimize inter-system interference and also achieve better network performance.
