CACA Guidelines for Liver Cancer Tablet:

Liver cancer is the 5th most common malignant tumor and the 2nd leading cause of tumor death in China, posing a serious threat to the lives and health of our people. Existing international diagnostic and treatment guidelines are unable to take into account the disease background of liver cancer in China, regional differences in diagnostic and treatment resources, and the social value of tumor treatment in clinical practice, making it difficult to achieve individualized diagnostic and treatment decisions.

The Liver Cancer Committee of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) has organized experts in the field to formulate the "Chinese Guidelines on Integrated Diagnosis and Treatment of Liver Cancer" based on the method of evidence-based medicine, which covers the epidemiology of liver cancer, screening, imaging, pathology evaluation, surgical treatment, interventional therapy, systemic drug therapy, multidisciplinary and integrated therapeutic means such as radiotherapy and traditional Chinese medicine, and the whole process of rehabilitation management, and so on.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is a multifactorial and synergistic process of initiation, cancer promotion and evolution, and is the result of multiple gene mutations. According to the available information, hepatitis viruses, aflatoxins, drinking water contamination and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease are the major factors associated with the development of liver cancer.
