What kind of gas is vac?

vac is vinyl acetate.

Colorless flammable liquid with a sweet etheric aroma. Relative density 0.9317 (20/20°C). Melting point -93.2℃. Boiling point 72.2℃. Flash point (open cup) -1°C. Refractive index nD is 1.3953. miscible with ethanol, soluble in ether, acetone, chloroform, carbon tetrachloride and other organic solvents, insoluble in water. Easy to polymerize.

Storage place should be cool and ventilated, no direct exposure to sunlight, and away from fire and heat. It should not be mixed with other "flammable" items, and should be stacked separately from oxidizers and acids.

Leakage Emergency Response

Rapidly evacuate the leaking contaminated area to a safe area, and isolation, strict restrictions on access. Cut off the source of fire. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear self-contained positive-pressure respirators and firefighting protective clothing. Cut off the source of the leak as far as possible, and prevent access to restricted spaces such as sewers and flood drains.

Small amount of leakage: adsorb or absorb with sand or other non-combustible materials. Can also be made of non-combustible dispersant emulsion brushing, wash solution diluted into the wastewater system. Large amount of leakage: construct a dike or dig a pit to shelter. Spray water to cool and dilute the vapors, protect people at the scene, and dilute the leak into non-combustible material. Use explosion-proof pumps to transfer to tanker trucks or special collectors, recycling or transported to the waste treatment site for disposal.

Waste disposal method: incineration is recommended.
