Shennongding Scenic Area is located in the nature reserve in the south of Shennongjia, with six peaks above 3000 meters above sea level, which is known as the "Roof of Central China". Shennongding, the highest peak, is 3 106.2 meters above sea level. It is also the highest peak in Central China and is known as the "first peak in Central China", hence the name Shennongding Scenic Area.
At the top of Shennong, the rocks are exposed, the stone forest is towering, and no trees are seen. There are only mosses and ferns on the ground, which is a primitive scene.
