In order to strengthen the management of medical institutions, regulate the practice of medical institutions, and promote the development of medical and health care, the Measures for the Administration of Medical Institutions of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region have been formulated in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions of the State Council and relevant laws and regulations. The Measures were considered and adopted at the 98th executive meeting of the 11th People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on December 31, 2011, and promulgated on January 19, 2012 by Decree No. 74 of the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The Measures are divided into 49 articles in 7 chapters, including General Provisions, Establishment, Registration and Verification of Medical Institutions, Practice Standards, Supervision and Inspection, Legal Liability, and Supplementary Provisions, and shall come into force on April 1, 2012. The Interim Measures for the Management of Medical Institutions of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region promulgated by the People's Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 2000 shall be repealed.
