Qinshan 300,000 kW nuclear power unit is the first nuclear power plant in China that relies on its own strength to research, design, build and manage. QINSHAN NUCLEAR POWER COMPANY's Overhaul Department (Installation and Overhaul Company) is a department (wholly-owned subsidiary) under QNPC, specializing in the installation and overhaul of nuclear power, with strong technical force and excellent equipment. It has nearly 300 employees and owns professional and complete overhaul plant and overhaul equipment. Qinshan Nuclear Power Company Overhaul Department (Installation and Overhaul Company), on the basis of doing a good job in the daily overhaul of the plant and overhaul of the material change, had participated in the installation and commissioning, operation and maintenance of the third phase of the nuclear power plant in Qinshan; participated in the successive overhaul of the second and third phases of Qinshan; undertook the commissioning of emergency diesel units of the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant; and successfully completed the three major overhaul of material change of the nuclear power plant in Chashma, Pakistan.

The Overhaul Department (Installation and Overhaul Company) has the following overhaul facilities: (1) Machining Workshop, which has strong machining capacity of turning, milling, planing and grinding, and is capable of independently undertaking parts machining and repair work. (2) Mechanical overhaul workshop, with perfect lifting tools and all kinds of special tools for mechanical overhaul, equipped with relatively perfect grinding stand and test stand. (3) Electrical Instrumentation Overhaul Building, with complete instrumentation and control test room, calibration stand for pneumatic valves and instruments, anti-static workshop and electrical overhaul workshop, with all kinds of advanced test equipments and work tools.
