Over the past three years, the Bureau invested 81 million yuan, the new pavement of Faster Highway, Thousand North Highway, Zhouyuan Avenue and other 10 113.5 kilometers of oil roads; investment of 29 million yuan, the new reconstruction of the Guozhen, Hudian Weihe Bridge 2 788 linear meters; the new Hengyang Highway Bridge, a 30-long bridge to draw the Weihe Canal; 18.75 million yuan of investment in the new construction, reconstruction of township and village highway 128 KM; new pavement of township and village highway 4 22.5 kilometers; new repair through the project 4 18.5 kilometers; investment of 10.9 million yuan built Chencang District Passenger Bus Station, Chisha, Qiaotong Town, County Gong three five-level passenger station has been completed.

By the end of 2005, the region has national and provincial highways and first-class highways 8 185.3KM, district and town highways 10 249.1KM, town and village highways 211 848KM, 10 74.59KM, the total mileage of highways in the region reached 1356.99KM, highway density of 22.7KM per 100 square kilometers. The total mileage of rural roads reaches 1171.7km, of which the total mileage of district-controlled roads (including special roads) is 323.7km, accounting for 27.63% of the total mileage of roads in the whole district, the total mileage of district-controlled oil roads reaches 166.5km, accounting for 51.4% of the total mileage of district-controlled roads, accounting for 14.18% of the total mileage of rural roads in the district, and the oil roads have already reached the seats of townships and townships in 17 townships and townships, accounting for 94.4% of the total townships and townships. 94.4%, 325 of the 338 administrative villages in the district have been connected to the highway, the rate of access to 96.15%. In March 2021, Chencang District was ranked 10th on the list of 2021 China's top 100 counties and cities for assured food.

In November 2020, the Ministry of Water Resources announced the list of the third batch of counties (districts) that reach the standard of water-saving society construction, and Chencang District was on the list.

In January 2020, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development identified Chencang District as the fourth batch of demonstration counties (cities and districts) in the country to take the lead in basically realizing the mechanization of the whole process of major crop production.

In February 2017, Chencang District was listed on the 2016 National List of Basic Balanced Counties (Cities and Districts) for Compulsory Education Development.

In March 2015, Chencang District won the third batch of national rule of law counties and municipalities to create activities in advanced units.
