Since its establishment, CGNPC Nuclear Engineering Co., Ltd. has taken "becoming an international first-class AE company" as its development vision, adhered to the basic principles of "safety first, quality first and pursuing Excellence", established a management system of "six major controls" on engineering safety, quality, schedule, cost, technology and environment, formed a "matrix and project" operation mechanism, and implemented comprehensive cooperation between internal and external institutions.

Through the standardization and large-scale construction of CGNPC's own brand CPR 1000 nuclear power project, the company actively undertakes and participates in the introduction, digestion and absorption of the third-generation nuclear power technologies EPR and AP 1000, develops and forms the third-generation nuclear power technology ACPR 1000+[22] with independent intellectual property rights, and forms "Hualong No.1" through technical integration.
