Professor Zhang Liangjui is currently the director of the Jewelry Education and Testing Center of Guilin University of Technology. This discipline is the earliest discipline established in our institute, and is also the main discipline in the group of disciplines in the field of geology and minerals. 1995 was listed as the first batch of key disciplines in the district level by Guangxi. 2. Environmental Engineering

VI. Laboratory Construction

1) Institute for Prediction of Concealed Mineral Deposits: Established in 1984, the founder and the first director is Prof. Yuan KuiRong, an internationally renowned geologist, gemmologist (ornamental stone), and doctoral supervisor. The Institute is the first professional research unit in the national geological system engaged in the prediction research of granite and hidden deposits, and now has 20 full-time and part-time scientific researchers.
