Saidonov Medical Academy

Sedonov Medical Academy, formerly known as the Medical Faculty of Moscow University, has a history of more than 240 years. It became independent from Moscow University in 1930, and in 1955 it began to be named after Sedonov, and to this day it is the largest medical research and teaching center in Russia. The Faculty is the second largest medical school in the world after the Medical University of Paris. The faculties of the Saidonov Medical Academy*** have more than 120 teaching and research departments and more than 1,500 faculty members, including 1,260 PhDs and 510 members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, corresponding members, or recipients of the title of Federal Scientific Activist. Many of the faculties and research departments are famous scientific institutions in their own right, such as: the Surgical Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Oncological Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Cardiological Research Institute of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Ophthalmological Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Moscow Institute of Oncology, the Physiological Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, the Forensic Research Center of the Russian Federation, the Endocrinological Research Center of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences, and others.

From 1947 to the present, the Sedonov Medical Academy has trained more than 2,000 specialists from 87 countries of the world. The diploma of the Sedonov Medical Academy is recognized in all countries of the world.

The number of foreign students has reached 900. Foreign students can study at the Faculty of Clinical Medicine (6 years) and the Faculty of Pharmacy (5 years).

The Faculty has a preparatory department for 150 foreign students. Here foreign students study physics, chemistry and biology in Russian. The Faculty provides dormitories for the students of the preparatory faculty in the vicinity of the university. After graduation from the preparatory faculty, students are interviewed for admission to the first year of the university. Usually there are 7 students in a class with Russian students. Starting from the second year students go to the hospital for internships, and from the third year clinical medical courses are offered.

Those who pass the state graduation examination receive a certificate as a physician (Faculty of Clinical Medicine) or a specialist in pharmacy (Faculty of Pharmacy). The Faculty of Clinical Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty of Health Care and the Faculty of Nursing are organized at the Shedonov Medical Academy.

The Faculty of Clinical Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Shedonov Medical Academy admit foreign students. The Faculty of Clinical Medicine has a duration of 6 years and grants a medical certificate, and the Faculty of Pharmacy has a duration of 5 years and grants a specialist in pharmacy

Department of Clinical Medicine: Founded in 1758, it currently has 48 faculties and 774 staff members, including 32 academicians and corresponding academicians of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), 163 professors, and 285 associate professors, with specialties of Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics and Gynecology.

< p> Shedonov Medical Academy is the first medical school in Moscow, the oldest and largest and best medical university in Russia, and also enjoys a great reputation in China. The Faculties of Clinical Medicine and Stomatology have a 6-year course of study and a physician's certificate is awarded upon graduation; those who receive a physician's certificate can enter the Graduate School of Medicine, which has a course of study of 3 years, and receive a doctoral degree (PhD) upon graduation; those who receive a doctoral degree in medicine can enter the Graduate School of Clinical Medicine, which has a course of study of 2-5 years, determined in accordance with the requirements of the student's home country, and receive a residency certificate upon graduation; the diploma of the Shedonov Medical Academy is universally recognized internationally. s diploma is generally recognized internationally. The Faculty of Nursing accepts applications from Chinese students, and graduates receive a degree in Advanced Nursing; this program can be dispatched as a whole class in liaison with relevant colleges and secondary specialized medical schools and nursing schools. It is necessary for the other party to present a teaching plan recognized by the Chinese government. Tuition is around $2,000-3,000, depending on the number of students and the program.

Chinese high school graduates who have an English level of TOEF 500 or above can enter the first year of university directly in English without going through the preparatory course, which is called the English class, and most of the teaching materials are the original teaching materials of the United States, and some of them are written by the school itself. Most of the textbooks are original American textbooks, and some of them are written by the school itself. The requirements of the English classes are more or less the same as those of the Russian classes. However, English classes are required to take Russian classes in grades 1-3 because they are required to communicate with patients in grades 4-6. However, the English classes are more expensive, and the prices are listed in the table.

Russian classes accept Chinese high school graduates for a year or a year and a half of matriculation and then into the first year of university.
