The Health Examination Center of Anhui Provincial Hospital is affiliated to Anhui Provincial Hospital. It was established earlier in the province, is larger in scale, and has well-equipped departments. It is a designated professional health examination institution and is also the authoritative institution for overseas physical examinations in the province. Anhui Provincial Hospital was formerly known as Hefei Christ Hospital and was established in 1898. The hospital is located in the center of Hefei, adjacent to the bustling Sipailou business district to the north and the scenic Baohe Park to the south. It is a hospital with advanced equipment, complete specialties and strong technical force, integrating medicine, teaching, research, prevention, health care and rehabilitation. It is a large provincial comprehensive hospital that integrates medical, emergency and first aid services. It has won the titles of "National Advanced Collective in Health System", "National Advanced Unit in Family Planning", "National Advanced Unit in Blindness Prevention", "National Advanced Unit in Three Rehabilitation Works", "National Advanced Unit in Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons", "National Advanced Unit in Provincial Health System" More than 40 collective honors including "Professional Ethics Construction Demonstration Unit", "Provincial Grassroots Party Organization Advanced Unit", and more than 100 national and provincial individual honorary titles. In 1993, it was first rated as a "Third Class A Hospital", in 1994 it was rated as a "Baby Friendly Hospital", in 1999 it was awarded the title of "National Top 100 Hospitals", and in 2002 it successfully passed the review of "Third Class A Hospital". In 2004, it was among the first batch of hospitals awarded the title of “Hospital with Integrity” by the Provincial Department of Health and the Provincial Government’s Correct Practice Office. In 2005, he was awarded the honorable title of Advanced Collective in the National Culture, Science, Technology and Health "Three Going to the Countryside" activities.
