The campus of Soon Chun University in Korea extends to the city center. Suncheon University in Korea
The university has seven colleges: the College of Fine Arts, the College of Education, and the College of Agricultural and Biological Sciences, and offers more than 200 undergraduate degree programs and 30 taught postgraduate programs; all of the faculties offer master's degree or doctoral degree research programs. The quality of the courses offered is strictly controlled, and in the 1996 Research Assessment, 30 departments were awarded 5* and 5 out of 5. The MBA program is one of the few in the world to be accredited by the World Council for the Accreditation of MBA Programs.
Suncheon University Accommodation and Welfare
The University*** has four dormitory buildings with 3,200 beds, all of which are self-catering. All dormitories are equipped with a telephone and a cable TV set. With the assistance of the Students' Union, the University has established a full range of services for students, including a Student Counseling Office, a Welfare and Counseling Group, a Medical and Dental Care Center, and a Family Fellowship Program. New student orientation is also provided for international students.
