It is reported that the Jingmen vehicle production base acquired by Great Wall Group belongs to Cheetah Automobile and is one of its four vehicle production bases (Yongzhou, Changsha, Chuzhou, Anhui and Jingmen, Hubei), covering an area of 183 1.07 mu, including stamping workshop, welding workshop, painting workshop, assembly workshop and new energy workshop. However, at present, it is rumored that the operation of Cheetah is worrying. The automobile factory in Jingmen, Hubei Province has also been taken over by the local government, and other factories have also been acquired. As for the pickup truck model CT7 owned by Cheetah, it has been discontinued for a long time.

After the Great Wall acquires the Jingmen vehicle production base, the factory will be upgraded. The production line that can only produce SUVs before will be adjusted to a flexible production line that can produce SUVs and pickups at the same time. There will also be four supporting projects for automobile chassis, rubber parts, seats and interior and exterior decorations. Judging from the current models of Great Wall Group, pickup trucks include Great Wall Cannon and Feng Jun series, and other off-road vehicles include Haval H9 and WEY Tank 300. The specific model of the Great Wall was not disclosed.

Summary: Since it is a flexible production line, this pickup truck is very similar to the SUV chassis. Judging from the current sales of various non-loaded bodies under the Great Wall, the Great Wall Gun is undoubtedly the model that needs to increase production capacity most, so this factory is likely to produce this series of pickup trucks.

As far as we know, among the many factories of Great Wall Motor, only Chongqing is currently producing the Great Wall Gun series. Located in the southwest of China, Chongqing is also the most developed area of pickup truck market. Hubei Jingmen production base is located in the middle of China's territory, which has natural geographical advantages and transportation advantages. Vehicles can reach all parts of the country quickly after they are produced, which also facilitates the sales of Great Wall guns after they are produced.
