1) When the instrument is transported at a long distance, it should be packed in a special transport box. If there is no shockproof transport box, but more precise instruments need to be transported, you can make a special box, and then put the box with instruments into the special box. The gap between the instrument box and the inner surface of the box can be tightly filled with shavings or paper.
2) When carrying instruments in short distance, the general instruments need not be packed in the transport box, but they must be escorted by special personnel. Instruments and equipment that are particularly afraid of earthquakes must be packed in the instrument box. No matter how long the instrument is transported, it should be protected from the sun and rain, and the place where the instrument and equipment are placed should be safe, clean and dry.
(two) the use and maintenance of the instrument in the process of operation
1) Before unpacking the instrument, the instrument box should be laid flat on the ground. It is forbidden to open the instrument by hand or hand, so as to avoid damaging the instrument when unpacking. Pay attention to the state of the instrument in the box after unpacking, so that it can be put in the box as it is after use. Loosen the brake screw before taking the instrument out of the box. When taking out the instrument, hold the instrument base with one hand and the bracket with the other hand, and gently take out the instrument. It is forbidden to use hand-held binoculars and horizontal shafts. After the instrument and used parts are taken out, the box cover should be closed in time to prevent dust from entering the box. The instrument box is placed near the station and no one is allowed to sit on it. After the operation is completed, all inching screws should be restored to their normal positions, and the dust on the upper surface of the instrument should be removed with mirror paper or soft brush. Then remove the instrument and hold it in both hands, and put it in the original box according to the position when taking out the box. Before closing the box, lightly tighten the brake screw. After checking that the accessories are complete, gently close the box cover, and then close the box cover. Don't use too much force to avoid damaging the instrument.
2) When installing the instrument, first stabilize the tripod and center it roughly, then install the instrument, and immediately tighten the central connecting screw.
3) Handle the instrument carefully to avoid strong impact and vibration. Please check the firmness of the tripod before placing the instrument. In the process of operation, the instrument should be protected at any time to avoid heavy losses.
4) When the instrument moves, it can be decided whether to pack the instrument according to the distance, road conditions and surrounding environment of the mobile station. When moving the station, all the brake screws of the instrument should be tightened slightly, but not too tightly, so that there is still room for rotation in case of collision, so as not to damage the instrument. In the process of handling, the instrument tripod must be held vertically and cannot be carried horizontally on the shoulder.
5) When using the instrument in the field, you must use an umbrella to keep out the sun. The surface of the objective lens and eyepiece of the instrument telescope should not be exposed to the sun, and it should also avoid the invasion of gray sand and rain.
6) If any part of the instrument fails, it should not be forcibly used, but should be repaired immediately, otherwise it will aggravate the damage of the instrument.
7) Don't disassemble the instrument easily when it is unnecessary. Too many times of disassembling the instrument will affect its measurement accuracy.
8) Optical components should be kept clean. If they are contaminated by dust, they must be removed with a brush or soft mirror paper. It is forbidden to touch the surface of any optical component of the instrument with your fingers.
9) Work in a humid environment. After work, dry the moisture or dust on the surface of the instrument with a soft cloth before packaging. Immediately after returning to the workstation, unpack the instrument and put it in a dry place. Dry it thoroughly before putting it into the instrument box.
10) When connecting all external instruments and equipment, pay attention to whether the corresponding interfaces and electrodes are connected correctly, and then turn on the host and peripheral equipment after confirmation. Don't grab the wire and pull it out when you pull it. Hold the connector and pull it in the right direction. Don't shake the plug while pulling, so as not to damage the connector. Data transmission line, GPS (monitor) antenna, etc. When winding up, it should not be bent, but should be wound in a circle to avoid breaking all kinds of connecting wires and affecting the work.
