Functional classification, requirements and characteristics of guide rails

Guide rails are grooves or ridges made of metal or other materials, which can bear, fix and guide moving devices or equipment to reduce their friction.

Function: Used for linear reciprocating motion, with higher rated load than linear bearing, and can bear certain torque at the same time. High-precision linear motion can be realized efficiently and durably under high load. The guide rail can be used on any machine or equipment that needs to slide, such as elevator guide rail.

Classification: ball guide, roller guide and needle roller guide.

Requirements and characteristics: the longitudinal grooves or ridges on the surface of the guide rail are used to guide and fix machine parts, special equipment and instruments. Guide rail is also called slide rail, linear guide rail and linear guide rail.
