Amberjet UP6150 consists of fully regenerated anion and cation resins and is used in mixed beds after reverse osmosis units in ultrapure water treatment systems. This mixed-bed resin product is typically used for ultrapure water purification in specialty electronics applications such as the production of disk drives, display devices, CD-ROMs, stand-alone semiconductor devices, low-density integrated circuits, or for back-end integrated circuit chunking and accessory operations. These applications require both high purity and economy. As long as the ultrapure water system is properly designed, because the Amberjet UP6150 can achieve 18 M.c with less than 5 ppb TOC on the first run in a refined mixed bed, the Amberjet UP6150 is equally suited for use in a number of other common ultrapure water manufacturing applications because of its high level of regenerative properties.

The Amberjet UP6150 and its component resins are post-treated and regenerated to ensure minimum ionic balance leakage. The resins are shipped in extremely high regeneration types H and OH. With adequate treatment of the influent water and proper mixed-bed design, the Amberjet UP6150 achieves a water resistivity of 18 M.c. It is not possible to fully guarantee the purity of the water in a silica system with a single unit. The Amberjet UP6150 has proven its ability to produce high purity water in ultrapure water systems.
