AED first aid has saved many lives, should this device be made available nationwide?

I think that since AEDs have saved so many lives, they should be widely available across the country. If a person suddenly collapses and faints in a public place, we can go to a nearby public place and get an AED to help defibrillate him, then resuscitate him, and call the emergency services in time. Doctors say that if the AED can be used to provide first aid to the patient, then it will be a great deal of time for the patient treatment delay. Since this device is so useful, it should be popularized throughout the country, and at the same time, the use of AEDs should be emphasized, so that all people can have a correct knowledge of medical science.

Talking about AEDs, I was reminded of a news story that happened a long time ago, when a passerby in Shenzhen met a man who fainted and collapsed on the ground, and the passerby first performed cardiac resuscitation on the man, and then the man ran to other places to find an AED. The passerby performed shock defibrillation on the fainting patient. Finally, there are many passers-by took turns to give this fainted and collapsed patient heart pressure, and finally the patient was successfully sent to the hospital. Because of the first aid in time, the patient is not life-threatening. The doctor praised these passers-by for their first aid and said that it was the presence of these passers-by that made it possible for the patient to escape from the danger of death.

When it comes to AEDs, I think a lot of my buddies are still relatively unfamiliar with them. AED is a tool used to defibrillate the human body with electric shocks, and I'll briefly describe the specific use of this device here. There are four buttons on the AED, one is the power switch, the other two are patches, and the last one is the shock switch. We first turn on the power switch, and then put the patch on the patient's chest in the appropriate position, after placing it on, the device will show whether the patient needs to be defibrillated by electric shock, and if the device reminds you that you need to do so, then you can just press the shock switch.
