Zhangzhen has a long history, and Zhanggezhuang was already formed in the Liao Dynasty. To the Ming Dynasty, the surname as the name of the village Hezhuang, Mijiazhuang, as well as features as the name of the village Walnut Garden, Nanjiazhuang merged into the Zhang Gaozhuang, composed of large villages; the end of the Qing Dynasty to the early years of the Republic of China, and gradually become a market town. Lotus Mountain Ski Resort
Beijing Lotus Mountain Ski Resort is located in the town of Zhang, Shunyi District, Beijing, covering an area of more than 1 million square meters in December 19, 2003, was completed for business.
