According to the deputy director of the Health Express Office, Yuan Xuemei, "Health Express" is a mobile eye train hospital specializing in charitable medical activities in China, which runs along the railway line, providing free treatment services for cataract patients in poor and remote areas all year round. Currently **** there are four columns, each train consists of four carriages, the first three columns donated by Hong Kong compatriots, the fourth column of "Sinopec Bright No." Health Express is Sinopec in March 2009 wholly donated, this is the first train hospital wholly donated by the Chinese mainland enterprises, with advanced technological equipment and the top of the cataract surgical instruments. It has advanced technical equipment and top-notch cataract surgery instruments. Since 2004, SINOPEC has donated more than 90 million RMB to the China Health Express Foundation.
In 2012, SINOPEC donated 9 million RMB to China Health Express, and "SINOPEC Brightness" has come to Yulin, Guangxi and Yinchuan, Ningxia in early April and late June this year, rescuing more than 2,000 impoverished cataract patients, and donating a cataract treatment center for Yulin, Guangxi and Yinchuan, Ningxia. Longyan, Fujian Province is the last stop of "SINOPEC Brightness" Health Express this year, which will provide free sight-restoring surgeries for more than 1,000 cataract patients, as well as train medical staff and provide equipment support for local base hospitals to improve the overall level of local hospitals.
