General Electric (GE) has announced that it will form three separate industry-leading, globally traded companies focused on growth industries such as aerospace, healthcare and energy. Six months after announcing the spin-off plan, General Electric (GE) has unveiled new names and business structures for the three separate companies. Among them, the healthcare business will be renamed GE HealthCare after the split; renewable energy, power, digital and energy financial services will be combined into a new company, GE Vernova; and the aviation business will be named GE Aerospace.
