Vandalism of public **** facilities is a violation of public security management punishment. Public **** facilities are public **** buildings or equipment provided by the government or other social organizations for the use or enjoyment of the public, which can be divided into education, medical and health care, culture and entertainment, transportation, sports, social welfare and security, administration and community services, postal and telecommunication, and commercial and financial services according to the specific characteristics of the project.
Article 26 of the Law of the People's Republic of China on Punishments for the Administration of Public Security
Anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be sentenced to detention of not less than 5 days but not more than 10 days, and may be fined not more than 500 yuan; and if the circumstances are aggravated, he or she shall be sentenced to detention of not less than 10 but not more than 15 days, and may be fined not more than 1,000 yuan:
(1) Ganging up to brawl;
(2) chasing or intercepting others;
(3) forcibly taking or arbitrarily damaging or occupying public or private property;
(4) other provocative behavior. Article 33 Anyone who commits any of the following acts shall be sentenced to detention for not less than 10 days but not more than 15 days:
(1) stealing, damaging or destroying oil and gas pipeline facilities, electric power and telecommunication facilities, broadcasting and television facilities, water conservancy and flood control engineering facilities, or hydrological monitoring, surveying, meteorological surveying and reporting, environmental monitoring, geological monitoring, seismic monitoring and other public **** facilities;
(2) moving or damaging the national boundary Boundary markers, boundary pillars and other border markers, border facilities or territorial and territorial sea marking facilities;
(3) illegal activities affecting the direction of the national (border) boundary line or the construction of facilities that impede the management of the national (border) border.
